1º - ORGANIZATION
.The PORTUS FUTSAL EUROCUP 2004 is an amateur and invitational
competition fully organised by PORTUS87 FUTSAL CLUB and is played in a weekend, the 10th and 11th of July, at the city of Maia - Portugal.
.Its main objective is to promote amateur futsal
and fair-play, and at the same time to enable a space of cultural and sporting meeting between our city and other European
cities represented by the participant teams.
2º - TEAMS
.Each team can present the maximum of 16 players for
the tournament, including a team captain. Coach, delegate and doctor are facultative.
is played by eight (8) teams, with two groups of four (4) teams that play a league in the first day and two different play-off competitions - Vintage
Cup and Tawny Cup - in the second day, in order to assure that every team plays a similar number of games.
. Each group
must have teams from different nationalities.
.The two top
teams of each group will play the Vintage Cup and the other teams will play the Tawny Cup, on Sunday. The winners of the semifinals
of each competition will play the finals and the losers will play the 3º/4º place matches.
. The group
matches and the Tawny competition matches will take 20 minutes from the starting sinal, without interval. During the first
18 minutes the clock will not stop, except by judgement of the referees. The last two minutes are played with clock stops
when the ball is not being played. The Vintage Cup matches will take 2x20 minutes, with no clock stops.
. If before
the start of the match, in the eyes of the referees, the colours of the teams do not differ enough, the first mentioned club
in the fixture must play the match in different colours. The first mentioned team will also kick-off.
3º - RULES
.The matches will be played according to the regulations
of the FIFA for Futsal, with two exceptions: LAW VIII - Duration of the Game: only
the semifinals and the finals of Vintage Cup will take 40 minutes, all the other tournament games will take 20 minutes without
time-out. LAW XIV - Accumulated Fouls: this rule will not be used.
SEE MATCH RULES
. If a players sees a red
card won’t be able to play the next match of his team.
. If a player sees two
red cards he will be excluded for the rest of the tournament.
. The ranking in the group stage will be decided on
points: three points for victory, one point for draw and no points for defeat.
.When all the group games are played and two or several
teams have the same amount of points the following factors will decide the group final classification:
1 – The goals difference
2 – Number of goals scored
3 – The contest between teams
4 – Penalty shoot-out
5 - Draw
. In the play-off competitions (second day),
if a match ends with a draw there will be a penalty shoot-out, played by FIFA rules.
6º - INDIVIDUAL
. Best Player: the referees choice – they
will choose the man of the match in every game. The player who gets more nominations will win this trophy. If two or more
players get the same number of nominations, the final decision will be taken in a referees’ meeting.
. Best Scorer:
the trophy will go to the player who scores more goals. If two or more players score the same number of goals, the winner
will be: 1) the one who played less games, 2) the player of the team with lowest final classication.
. Best Defense:
for the team that allowed less goals. If two or more teams end with the same number of goals allowed will win the one with
a lowest final classification.
. The organisation can not be blamed for any participant
injury or accident during the tournament
. Each team is responsible for the behaviour of their
members, including any kind of damages in the arena facilities.
. The organization has full power to decide on matters
that are not contemplated on this general tournament regulation.
